Doug Fonseca is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, currently learning under the guidance of IBJJF Black Belt Nick Wallace and IBJJF 3rd Degree Black Belt Billy Shannon. Growing up in one of the world’s most influential hubs of Jiu-Jitsu, Doug brings a lifelong connection to the art, blending traditional Brazilian fundamentals with a modern, pressure-oriented game.
Training under Nick Wallace and Billy Shannon, has shaped Doug into a disciplined, technically sharp practitioner. Their mentorship has pushed his development on and off the mats, emphasizing precision, consistency, and the deeper values of Jiu-Jitsu.
